Summer Camps

What are our summer camps?

Our summer camps give incoming 6th through 9th graders the opportunity to learn basic programming, engineering, leadership, and problem-solving skills. During our camp, students design, code, and customize small robots with LEGO Mindstorms to compete against their peers in a number of friendly competitions. Students will explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), be introduced to FIRST®, and make friends in our week-long summer camp. Parents are invited to come to the Lawrence College and Career Center at the end of the camp to watch their children compete/present in our parent showcase. This year we’re hosting two camps: in June and July. Our June 12-16 camp is specifically for female and non-binary students, in hopes of encouraging a minority group in STEAM fields. Our second camp from July 10-13 welcomes all genders. We would love to see your child in our camp as well; below is our sign up form!
